Freight and customs
“Freight & customs” is in the “Purchasing & imports” section, after “Purchasing” and “Suppliers”: it is how bought goods come in. It covers the freight side of moving goods rather than the parcel side, which is “Tracking”.
The views
“Bookings” is the default: freight bookings themselves.
“ASNs” holds advance shipping notices.
“Customs” holds customs documentation.
“Claims” is freight claims. Parcel claims are a separate queue, on the retired Dispatch page, and that view stays switched off (see Dispatch). Overcharges on a parcel carrier’s invoice are found on “Billing”, in the “Carrier invoices” tab (see Carrier invoices). This one is freight. The two views keep separate addresses, so a view chosen on one never carries over to the other.
“CBAM” is carbon border reporting.
Some views may be marked “SOON” where the surface exists but the function behind it is not finished. Treat that marker as authoritative and do not plan around a view that carries it.
CBAM
The CBAM view is where the emissions figures your suppliers report arrive and are worked with.
Those figures are not typed in by you. You send suppliers a link to a questionnaire and they fill it in themselves. See The emissions questionnaire you send to suppliers.
The reference carbon price used in the reporting is fetched by the platform on a schedule rather than entered by hand, so it is not something you maintain.
Which page do I want
If it is a parcel with a tracking number, you want Track a shipment. If it is a container, a booking, an ASN or a customs document, you want this page.
